The BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) Sales Manager/Specialist is responsible for driving business development and sales growth for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale energy storage projects.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies for BESS solutions in line with company objectives.
- Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaborate with internal technical, product, and marketing teams to develop customized solutions and proposals.
- Monitor market trends, policy updates, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial presentations to customers and partners.
- Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences, and webinars to promote brand visibility.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting to management.
- Support after-sales communication to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Energy, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in BESS, solar, or renewable energy system sales (utility or C&I scale preferred).
- Proven track record in business development and contract negotiation for energy projects.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages (e.g., Chinese, French, Spanish, or German) are a plus.
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally as required.
