System Administrator – Newry (Onsite, Full-time)

We’re looking for a hands-on System Administrator to take ownership of our IT environment and play a key role in shaping our future ICT strategy. This is a varied and impactful role where you’ll be the go-to person for everything IT, ensuring our systems are secure, resilient, and ready to support continued business growth. What you’ll do

  • Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure – networks, servers, PCs, and cloud platforms.
  • Oversee our hybrid-cloud environment, including Microsoft Intune, Azure, AWS, and O365.
  • Monitor performance, availability, and security of all core systems.
  • Drive cloud migrations and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Support staff onboarding/offboarding and keep our asset register up to date.
  • Implement IT solutions across the business and ensure compliance controls are in place.

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years in a Systems Administrator role supporting a large user base across multiple locations.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and enterprise environments (Windows/MacOS/Linux).
  • Experience with Azure/AWS, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and security best practices.
  • Background in HRIS or enterprise-level ITSM systems is a strong plus.
  • Proactive problem-solver who can work independently while keeping leadership updated.
