My client are looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer with deep expertise in Juniper and Aruba technologies to join our solutions and engineering function. This role sits at the intersection of architecture, implementation, and consulting, working with enterprise customers to design and deliver secure, scalable network and security solutions. You will play a key role in shaping technical designs, supporting complex customer engagements, and collaborating with sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. This is an opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise environments alongside experienced engineers and architects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design enterprise-grade network and security architectures using Juniper and Aruba technologies.
- Translate business, technical, and security requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Define technical standards, architectures, and implementation approaches for complex environments.
- Lead the deployment and integration of advanced networking and security solutions.
- Provide technical leadership during implementation projects and operational handover.
- Work closely with project, engineering, and service teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to develop solution designs and technical proposals.
- Act as a technical authority in customer workshops, presentations, and solution discussions.
- Provide consultancy and technical guidance to enterprise customers.
- Ensure solutions align with recognised security frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation, designs, and implementation artefacts.
- Contribute to engineering best practices and solution frameworks.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, security threats, and vendor roadmaps.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers within the team.
Mandatory Technical Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise networks using Juniper and Aruba technologies.
- Professional-level certifications in Juniper and Aruba.
- Proven experience delivering complex network and security solutions in enterprise environments.
Technical & Security Knowledge
- Experience working in environments aligned to recognised security and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, SOX, HIPAA or similar).
- Deep understanding of enterprise networking, security architecture, and infrastructure design.
- Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and design artefacts.
