We are currently seeking a Senior Agile Project Manager to join a high-impact data transformation initiative based in Sheffield City Centre. This role is focused on delivering complex Data Remediation and Data Change programmes, driving value through strong Agile project management, stakeholder engagement, and rigorous reporting.
You will work as a pivotal part of the Data & Analytics Office (DAO), supporting our mission to build a data-driven culture and unlock measurable value from well-managed, quality data.
- Lead and manage critical data remediation projects aligned to the DAO strategic pillars.
- Collaborate closely with Programme Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Portfolio leads to ensure alignment with the wider change roadmap.
- Influence project direction, timelines, and priorities through strong stakeholder engagement and change governance practices.
- Establish and maintain effective project governance, risk and issue management, and escalation frameworks.
- Oversee Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Track and report on progress against agreed milestones, proactively addressing risks, dependencies, and blockers.
- Support change readiness and adoption across a matrix of global business units and stakeholders.
Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale projects, particularly within data change, remediation, or transformation initiatives.
- ~5+ years’ experience in Agile project delivery; experience managing hybrid teams and leading Agile ceremonies.
- ~ Strong stakeholder management capabilities across various business levels, including executive reporting.
- ~ Hands-on expertise in Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- ~ Excellent working knowledge of data governance, regulatory compliance, and change management principles.
- ~ Demonstrated ability to manage risk, dependencies, and drive delivery in a high-paced, regulated environment.
- ~ Background in financial services, data management or enterprise change preferred.
SAFe Certification (or other Agile accreditation) required. Agile PM, Prince2, or PMP (desirable).
