The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 Β£ per year.

The person who joins us will perform, among others, the following functions:
- Manage the entire planning process for Solar PV, BESS, and Wind projects, working closely with Development Managers, external consultants, landowners, the legal team, and other stakeholders to ensure that planning applications are submitted promptly and accurately.
- Ensuring planning compliance throughout the development lifecycle and construction phases.
- Collaborate with the Origination team to identify strategic land opportunities.
- Work closely with Development Managers and Grid Engineers to complete a preliminary site assessment, ensuring there are no surprises when the project enters the planning phase.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the Local Planning Authority (LPA) and liaise with Council Officers and relevant consultees, leading negotiations and presenting to the planning committee.
- When required, manage S78 appeals and lead at appeal hearings.
Requirements:
- MA or BA degree in a relevant field and an MRTPI qualification equivalent.
- Five yearsβ experience, within an LPA or planning consultancy, and two years working in a renewable energy, Solar, and BESS role.
- Track record of taking a renewable energy project through the planning process to a successful conclusion.
- Driving licence.
