Join Solarfix, a leading solar PV and battery storage installer with a strong reputation for quality, professionalism, and growth. We’re looking for a skilled Solar Roofer to install solar systems across domestic and commercial sites.
Pay: £40,000–£45,000 per year + private healthcare (family cover) + pension.
Location: Mallusk, Northern Ireland (covering sites across Northern Ireland).
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm. Permanent, full‑time.
Your Day‑to‑Day:
- Installation of solar PV panels.
- Work closely with your team to deliver top‑quality installs.
- Follow H&S standards and ensure tidy, respectful job completion.
- Use smartphone apps for testing, reporting, and communicating with office staff.
- Travel from our Mallusk office to various sites in the company van.
Essential:
- 2 years experience installing solar on tile, slate, metal, and flat roofs.
- Valid CSR card or willing to attain this qualification upon employment.
- Comfortable working at heights with appropriate H&S measures.
- Clear criminal record.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Positive and can‑do attitude.
- A good team player.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to commute to our office in Mallusk; the company van will be used for travel.
- Willing to undertake extensive manufacturer training on various products and H&S systems.
- Willing to attend occasional trade or home improvement shows and work away from home with overnight stays very occasionally.

- MWEP, PASMA and Telehandler qualifications or willingness to obtain upon employment.
- Working at Heights qualification.
- Experience working in domestic properties.
