Job Description
We are looking for bright and ambitious people to join a growing, well-respected solar energy company looking to expand its activities in Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charge Points and Solar Maintenance Services

recent graduates in a relevant discipline or experienced professionals that can add immediate value.

Opportunities for progression for the right candidates are excellent. The role is flexible, wide ranging and aimed at supporting the growth of the business in the commercial, public sector and domestic markets.

The roles will be based at our offices in a rural location near Southbourne, West Sussex.

Solar Voltaics is an MCS accredited supplier of Solar Energy to local Councils and businesses, is an Accredited Installer of Tesla Powerwall products and is a Myenergi and Givenergy approved installer.

Design

- Produce battery storage designs/quotes

Project Engineering

- Managing technical delivery of projects
- Producing wiring schematics for PV installations
- Liaising with customers regarding project requirements
- Planning materials delivery
- Producing job sheets and technical packs for install teams
- Planning installations, materials purchases and deliveries

Sales support
\\n

- Support sales quotation process with technical content
- Preparing job costings and proposals
- Doing site surveys and talking to clients about prospective PV systems

Person requirements
\\n
Qualifications, Technical Ability & Experience
\\n
Degree level or equivalent in a Technical/Electrical/Renewables field is beneficial, but not essential.
\\n
Competent in using a variety of mainstream business software – e.g. Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook.
\\n
Experience working in a technical capacity within the solar PV industry and knowledge of system design with PV Sol is a distinct advantage for the technical roles.
\\n
An affinity for learning new skills and ability to apply them to real work situations.
