Role Description
This is a part-time remote position for an Editor in Chief. The Editor in Chief will lead the editorial team, develop and implement content strategies, and ensure that all published materials meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy. Responsibilities include reviewing contributions, editing articles, coordinating with writers and contributors, managing editorial calendars, and overseeing publication schedules. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to shape the creative vision and maintain the editorial voice of Solar System Times.

Proven expertise in Editing, Proofreading, and Article Review
Strong skills in Content Strategy, Planning, and Team Management
Experience in Creative Writing, Copywriting, and Story Development
Excellent Research, Analytical Thinking, and Attention to Detail
Familiarity with Digital Publishing Platforms and Web Content Management
Effective Communication, Leadership, and Mentorship Skills
Passion for astronomy, space science, or STEM-related topics
Bachelor\’s degree in Journalism and STEM (Physics, Cosmology, or a related field is preferred)
