Solar Panels London is a fast-growing, family-run solar company helping homeowners reduce energy bills with solar + battery solutions. We’re hiring a strong outbound appointment setter who can cold call, qualify, handle objections, and book attended appointments.

This is a cold outbound calling role. If your experience is mainly inbound calls / warm enquiries / customer service, this role is not a fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Making high-volume outbound calls to homeowners from provided leads/data
- Delivering a strong opener and controlling the call
- Qualifying prospects (homeownership, decision maker, timeframe, motivation)
- Handling objections (e.g. “send info”, “not interested”, “already got quotes”)
- Booking qualified appointments for our solar consultants
- Updating the CRM accurately with outcomes and notes
- Working to daily/weekly targets (quality + attendance matter)
What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiable)
- Proven outbound telesales / appointment setting experience (minimum 2 years)
- Confident objection handling and ability to close for the appointment
- Comfortable being measured on KPIs (dials, conversations, appointments, show rate)
- Reliable, coachable, consistent work ethic
- CRM experience preferred
- Fluent English (spoken and written) with a confident phone manner
Typical Expectations (KPI-led)
- Dials/day: 300–400
- Meaningful conversations/day: 30–60 depending on data quality
- Focus is qualified + attended appointments, not just bookings
Pay, Hours & Location
- £14 per hour (no commission)
- 40 hours/week (10:00am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday)
- Office-based in London NW10 9SB (no remote)
- Annual equivalent: £29,120 gross/year (40 hrs/week, 52 weeks)
