The Role
We’re hiring a Creative Performance Strategist to own the creative planning, briefing, and launch delivery process across our client portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of creative thinking and performance marketing. You’ll be developing concepts, writing briefs, coordinating shoots, and ensuring every client goes into launch with the right assets, all while keeping one eye on what the data is telling you. You won’t just be producing creative for the sake of it. You’ll be thinking about why certain angles work, what the numbers are saying, and how to improve outcomes with every iteration. You’ll work closely with our Media Buying and Client Success teams to keep creative aligned with performance goals.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Shoot Coordination — Organise and manage client shoots.
- Creative Planning — Develop creative concepts aligned to each client’s goals and audience. Use media buying metrics to validate ideas.
- Launch Readiness — Own creative delivery timelines and ensure campaigns are ready to go live and hit the ground running.
- Communication — Respond to all creative requests from clients. Maintain strong inter-departmental communication with Media Buying and Client Success to ensure creative direction stays aligned with campaign performance.
What We’re Looking For:
You don’t need to tick every box, but strong candidates will have:
- Experience in a creative strategy, content, or performance marketing role
- Ability to write clear, structured, insight-led creative briefs
- Understanding of paid social — particularly what makes Meta ads perform
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple client timelines simultaneously
- Comfortable working with data to inform and justify creative decisions
- Clear communicator across internal teams and with clients
- High attention to detail and a genuine interest in creative quality
- Experience in an agency or fast-paced environment
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager or familiarity with CPL/ROAS metrics
- Experience coordinating video shoots or working with video editors
- Background in direct response or lead generation creative
- Exposure to solar, home improvement, or similar verticals
What Success Looks Like (First 3 Months):
- Briefs delivered consistently on time and to a high standard
- Pre-shoot calls happening for 90%+ of shoots
- Clients going into launch with full asset packages ready
- Creative requests responded to promptly across managed clients
- Creative ideas grounded in performance data
- Seen as a reliable, proactive creative operator across the team
Career Progression:
This role is designed to grow as the business scales: Creative Performance Strategist → Senior Creative Performance Strategist → Head of Creative Strategy. Progression is based on creative contribution, commercial awareness, and the ability to think and operate strategically.
Why Join Solar on Steroids:
- Work on performance creative that has a direct, measurable impact on client results
