JOB TITLE:

Processing and Packaging Manager

DIVISION:

El Blunto

AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION:

• Directly reports to the Founder & CEO of Albert Einstone’s LLC
• Oversees the Processing and Packaging Technicians in the El Blunto Division

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the El Blunto pre-roll production process to ensure product consistency and quality
• Develop and implement SOPs for efficient and high-quality pre-roll production
• Monitor and maintain manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting as needed
• Ensure compliance with all relevant cannabis regulations and reporting requirements
• Train staff on proper manufacturing techniques and safety procedures
• Conduct quality checks, maintain a QMS, and address quality issues
• Manage pre-roll packaging, including labeling, sealing, and boxing, ensuring product integrity and regulatory compliance
• Maintain detailed quality control records
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cannabis products
• Support new manufacturing processes and technologies
• Contribute to projects aimed at efficiency and cost reduction
• Participate in cross-functional teams and support special events
• Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment
• Utilize inventory and quality control software
• Use Metrc for product tracking
• Collect and analyze data related to production processes and quality
• Research best practices for cannabis manufacturing and packaging
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
• Metric experience required
• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must pass all required background checks
• Must be proactive, have strong work ethic and pay great attention to detail
• Organizational and time management skills required
• Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
• Frequently move up to 30+ pounds of equipment/materials/product (100 pounds with assistance)
• Must be comfortable working in a variable environment including high temperatures and humidity
• Comfortable working on lifts / heavy equipment and heights over 6 feet off the ground
• May include being in a stationary position or moving for extended periods
