JOB TITLE: Field Marketing Representative
AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION:
- Reports directly to the Director of Business Development
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a brand representative to promote Solar Cannabis’s book of brands to wholesale clients across Massachusetts.
- Facilitate in-store activations and industry pop-ups, tradeshows, and other marketing initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with wholesale partners, ensuring brand visibility through marketing displays, co-branded materials, and collaborative promotions.
- Collect feedback from budtenders and wholesale clients to inform marketing strategies and increase sales.
- Work closely with the Wholesale Team to brainstorm creative ways to promote new products, bundles.
- Manage and track inventory of branded marketing materials, including swag, signage, and printed collateral.
- Maintain content calendars, ensuring alignment with wholesale initiatives.
- Work with the Director of Business Development to create and refine marketing materials for wholesale clients and in-store displays.
- Engage clients with field marketing insights using social media strategies to improve customer experience and brand awareness.
- Wholesale team and field representative will work closely with marketing to ensure collaborative efforts.
- Stay up to date with the cannabis market and use data analytics to identify emerging trends and opportunities for innovation.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience, BA/ BS is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe Illustrator
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must pass all required background checks.
- Must be proactive, have strong work ethic and pay great attention to detail
- Organizational and time management skills required
- Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
- Frequently moves up to 30 pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance).
- May include being in a stationary position or moving for extended periods
- Use of Expensify to track miles and out of pocket expenses
