We’re looking for someone who can bring both tried and tested experience and fresh thinking to complex issues in a densely populated urban centre. Effective partnership working with community groups, the Police, local landlords and businesses will be vital. You should be prepared to be accountable for outcomes, have an excellent handle on your brief, and be confident in responding to challenge. A highly developed appreciation of the political attention that accompanies high profile issues will be essential to success.

It\’s likely that you will have a professional background in regulated services, but leadership skills, political acumen and the capacity to see the interdependencies across multiple service areas will set you apart as a strong candidate.
