We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Full Stack Developer with demonstrable Front-End skills to join our dynamic software development team working with leading-edge technologies to build innovative products. The role of the Full Stack Developer at Solace Global Risk is to work as part of an agile software development team to meet the needs of the business and our clients. The successful candidate will work closely to support all aspects of technical solutions working closely with Product Owner(s) and commercial stakeholders. In this role, you will be actively involved in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including the design, development, test, and release.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders, Designers etc to translate business requirements (e.g. Figma designs) into performant, accessible, and responsive user interfaces using React.
- Champion high standards of frontend development, including reusable components, clean architecture, and consistent styling practices.
- Contribute to both frontend and backend development across the full stack using .NET and React with TypeScript.
- Provide technical input into the evolution and continuous improvement of systems and services.
- Analyse existing systems and identify opportunities for optimisation, performance improvements, and enhanced user experience.
- Support and resolve service requests, ensuring reliability and high availability of applications.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including refining Epics into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Design and implement robust technical solutions aligned with business and architectural goals.
- Promote best practices including code quality, testing, security, and maintainability.
- Contribute positively to team culture, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in change management processes and support production releases.
- Take part in a critical IT incident on-call support rota.
Requirements
- Strong experience with C# / .NET Core for backend development.
- Proven experience building modern frontend applications using React.
- Experience working from Figma (or similar design tools) to implement pixel-accurate, user-centric interfaces.
- Knowledge of component-based architecture and frontend best practices.
- Experience with MS SQL and Entity Framework.
- Familiarity with MVC architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing approaches.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, SQL).
- Strong communication skills & ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Google Maps APIs or similar geospatial tools.
- Awareness of information security best practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as JIRA.
- Comfortable working in a small, high-performing team with autonomy and ownership.
