A leading organisation in the debt recovery enforcement sector is currently recruiting Trainee and Certificated Enforcement Agents to join its growing UK-wide team. With over 40 years of industry experience and a reputation for supporting public sector clients—including regional authorities and transport bodies—the company offers an exciting and rewarding career path for individuals who value independence, meaningful work, and the potential for high earnings.
Successful candidates will operate independently in the field, visiting the properties of individuals with outstanding debts. The focus of the role is to support individuals in finding fair and effective solutions to resolve their debt, while preventing further enforcement actions wherever possible.
Whether joining with existing certification or as a trainee, candidates will benefit from full training, ongoing support, and access to the latest technology to carry out their work effectively. A company vehicle, fuel card, and smartphone will be provided.
Typical Responsibilities- Visiting residential and commercial properties to engage with individuals regarding unpaid debts
- Negotiating appropriate payment or resolution plans
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting
- Working independently to manage a personal caseload and daily schedule
- Supporting vulnerable individuals by signposting them to relevant support services
- Full Driving Licence is essential
- Resilient, calm under pressure, and quick-thinking
- Strong communicators with an empathetic, respectful, and persuasive manner
- Self-motivated and able to manage their time effectively
- Honest, reliable, and fair in their decision-making
- A background in debt collection, military, police force, prison service or security would be a benefit
- Basic salary of £25,400 per annum
