Our client is seeking a Junior Billing Analyst to join their established team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative, finance, customer service or analytical skills who is looking to develop a career in billing, account support and commercial operations.
The Role
As a Junior Billing Analyst, you will support the billing function by helping to ensure customers receive accurate and timely invoices, while assisting with the investigation and resolution of billing queries and discrepancies. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will gain valuable industry knowledge and develop your analytical, problem-solving and commercial support skills in a fast-paced office-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and issuing of accurate customer invoices.
- Review and validate supplier invoices against agreed contracts and pricing.
- Investigate billing discrepancies and support their resolution.
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems.
- Handle customer billing enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Support reconciliations, reporting and audit activities.
- Ensure billing processes are completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and billing accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with Operations, Sales and Finance teams.
