An established utilities consultancy is looking to recruit a driven and enthusiastic Energy Consultant / Sales Executive to join a growing sales team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys sales, relationship-building, and working in a fast-paced environment with strong earning potential.

You’ll be responsible for generating new business, engaging with prospective clients, and promoting a range of energy and utility solutions that help businesses improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research and outbound outreach
  • Make outbound sales calls and follow up on warm and cold leads
  • Present energy and utility solutions clearly and confidently to potential clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Accurately log sales activity and client interactions using a CRM system
  • Work closely with the wider sales team to support sales strategies and performance
  • Consistently work towards and exceed monthly sales targets

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in sales (utilities or energy experience desirable but not essential)
  • Confident communicator with strong persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Competent using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
