We are seeking a highly motivated Management Accountant to join our growing finance team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with 2+ years of post‑qualification experience (ACA/ACCA/CPA) and a background in business services, audit, or corporate accounting who is looking to step into a fast moving, dynamic, global environment for a high growth business.

This is a hands‑on Management Accountant role in a lean, forward‑thinking team. You will manage core financial operations and month‑end processes while actively driving process automation, AI‑enabled tools, and finance innovation. You will partner closely with Product, Growth, and Engineering teams to deeply understand new products and initiatives, test their financial impact, and ensure the finance function evolves alongside the business.

Core Financial Operations & Controls

  • Lead the end‑to‑end month‑end close, Group management accounts, journals, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Prepare high‑quality monthly financial and operational reports for leadership and investors.
  • Manage outsourced bookkeeping partners and drive improvements in their delivery.

Automation, Technology & Innovation

  • Identify manual processes and lead automation initiatives using ERP integrations, APIs and AI‑powered tools.
  • Implement and enhance AI use cases in finance.
  • Design and build scalable finance infrastructure, dashboards, and automated controls.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging accounting and treasury technologies to future‑prove the function.

Product Partnership & Commercial Impact

  • Partner with Product, Growth, Commercial, and other departments to deeply understand new products and features.
  • Lead finance testing and impact analysis for new initiatives – modelling unit economics, revenue recognition, cost implications, and scalability.
  • Contribute to P&L reviews, budgeting, cashflow forecasting (with predictive elements), and cost optimisation.
  • Provide commercial insights and data‑driven recommendations to support business decision‑making.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Recently qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA (2‑4 years post‑qualified).
  • 5+ years' experience in finance operations with strong control background.
  • Demonstrable track record in process automation and technology implementation (dashboards, integrations, scripting, or AI tools).
  • Strong Excel + analytical skills.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or fast‑growing scale‑ups preferred.

Key Mindset

  • Commercial and curious – excited to partner with other teams and test new products from a finance perspective.
  • Strong communicator who can translate technical financial topics for non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Automation‑first and innovation‑oriented; you proactively look for ways to leverage technology and AI.
  • Comfortable working in a lean, agile, cross‑functional environment.

Please note, candidates will need to have the right to work in the jurisdiction that they are looking to work in. The main responsibilities of this role are outlined above; however, this description is not exhaustive, and the job holder may be required to undertake additional duties from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the department. The role may require some working outside our normal working hours.
