About the Role
Sokin is looking for a strategic, hands‑on Head of Web and Search Experience to own and optimize our global web presence.
You will be responsible for managing and improving our websites across markets – building high‑performing landing pages, driving organic growth through SEO and ensuring every digital touchpoint is fast, functional and conversion‑focused.
This role will collaborate closely with the wider marketing function including product marketing, design, content, demand generation and regional teams to deliver localized, data‑driven experiences that align with business goals and support growth campaigns.
The ideal candidate has 4‑6 years of experience in website management, deep knowledge of SEO and analytics tools and a proven ability to translate insights into measurable performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Management & Development
- Develop and own the website roadmap, aligning with marketing, sales and business goals.
- Manage end‑to‑end website operations, including content updates, landing page creation and new feature rollouts.
- Work within CMS platforms (Word Press, Webflow) to build, update and optimize site content at speed.
- Oversee hosting, domain and technical integrations; troubleshoot issues such as broken links, errors, and downtime.
- Collaborate with designers, developers and external agencies to execute redesigns, improvements and new projects.
- Performance, Analytics & Optimization
- Set up and maintain analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, Microsoft Clarity, Crazy Egg, Hotjar, Heap).
- Track KPIs: traffic, rankings, conversions, bounce rates and page performance.
- Run heatmaps, A/B testing and CRO experiments to enhance user experience (UX) and conversion rates.
- Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights to marketing, product and leadership teams.
- Continuously test, measure and refine strategies to drive lead generation and revenue.
- Regionalization & Localization
- Manage the build of regionalized websites across multiple countries and markets, ensuring localized content, SEO alignment and compliance with local regulations.
- Partner with regional marketing teams to adapt messaging, optimize for local search engines and ensure cultural relevance.
- Implement scalable processes for website localization to support global expansion.
- SEO Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement on‑page, off‑page and technical SEO strategies to increase organic visibility.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and site audits to identify growth opportunities.
- Optimize metadata, headers, structured data, site speed, internal linking and content for ranking improvements.
- Build and manage backlink acquisition strategies using SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog).
- Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates, LLM’s and industry best practices.
- Security & Compliance
- Implement and monitor website security protocols, firewalls and audits.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
- Respond to and resolve security incidents in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Computer Science or a related field.
- 6 years of proven experience managing websites and SEO in a B2B environment.
- Proficiency with CMS platforms and other related tools (Word Press, Webflow, Calendly, Zapier, Typeform)
- Knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console).
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and Java Script basics (enough to make small technical edits).
- Strong understanding of CRO, UX best practices and multi‑market website management.
- Excellent project management, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable growth strategies.
Please note, candidates will need to have the right to work in the jurisdiction that they are looking to work in.
