As our Head of Operations, based in London, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our global payments operations. Sitting at the heart of one of the world’s leading financial hubs, you’ll be responsible for driving operational excellence across multiple jurisdictions, collaborating closely with compliance, product, and tech to refine processes and enable strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations from our London HQ, managing global payment flows across time zones and jurisdictions.
  • Oversee payment processing, reconciliation, and integration with banking and payment partners.
  • Develop scalable operational frameworks to support rapid growth and new partner launches.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Compliance, Product, Tech, and Support) to optimise end-to-end operational performance.
  • Manage strategic relationships with vendors including PSPs, banks, and infrastructure providers.
  • Implement and maintain strong risk management practices, including incident response planning.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure team performance and process effectiveness.
  • Build and lead high-performing global operations teams with a London base.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8–10+ years of experience in fintech or payment operations, including in leadership roles.
  • Deep understanding of international payments, FX, digital wallets, and financial infrastructure.
  • Strong experience in regulated environments, ideally with UK and EU exposure.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale operations and lead teams in fast-paced, high-growth businesses.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in data-driven decision-making and familiar with process automation tools.
  • Previous experience working in or managing teams from a London-based HQ is a strong plus.
  • Experience with API-led payment systems and modern tech stacks is desirable.
