As an Operations Analyst within the Payments and FX team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operational activities across Sokin’s growing payments ecosystem, including traditional fiat rails and our latest digital asset offerings such as crypto stablecoin payments.
You will be responsible for transaction reconciliation, managing account blocks, processing chargeback disputes, onboarding customers in the back office (both automated and manual), and handling manual credit adjustments. This role will also support operational processes linked to stablecoin transactions, including monitoring, reconciliation, and exception handling across fiat and digital payment flows.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, analytical capability, and experience working with a variety of payment types such as FX Payments, Pay by Link, Embedded Finance, SEPA, CHAPS, Faster Payments, and emerging payment solutions including stablecoin-based settlements.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Reconciliation & Adjustments
- Perform daily reconciliations of payment transactions across multiple channels and currencies
- Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner
- Process manual credit adjustments as required
- Support the day-to-day operational processes for Sokin’s asset management and stablecoin offering, ensuring accurate processing, settlement, and reconciliation of stablecoin and fiat transactions.
- Investigate and resolve exceptions, discrepancies, and failed transactions related to stablecoin movements and asset management activities.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Treasury teams to ensure regulatory adherence, AML controls, and safeguarding of client assets within the stablecoin framework.
- Maintain and improve operational procedures and controls to support scalability, resilience, and transparency of the stablecoin platform.
- Support incident management and root cause analysis for operational or settlement issues affecting digital assets or client portfolios.
- Contribute to process automation and operational efficiency initiatives as the stablecoin and asset management products evolve.
- Monitor and manage account blocks or restrictions, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution
- Work with internal teams (compliance, risk, product) to identify and resolve root causes of account-related issues
- Handle chargeback and dispute cases across all payment methods
- Liaise with partners and networks to gather evidence and respond to disputes within set timeframes
- Maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes
- Support both automated and manual onboarding processes via the back-office platform
- Review and process onboarding cases requiring manual intervention
- Identify areas for operational efficiency and provide suggestions for automation or improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of process changes
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in payments operations, with a focus on reconciliation, disputes, or customer onboarding
- Familiarity with payment methods such as FX Payments, Pay by Link, Embedded Finance, SEPA, CHAPS, and Faster Payments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and regulated environment
- Competence using operational tools, back-office systems, and spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements related to payments (desirable)
