We are supporting an ambitious, privately owned business as it enters an exciting phase of expansion and transformation. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic finance function in a role with broad commercial exposure and significant influence across the organisation. Working closely with the Finance Director and senior leadership team, you will provide financial insight that supports strategic decisions and drives business performance. This role is suited to someone who enjoys operating in a fast-moving environment, combining strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into meaningful commercial recommendations. You will take ownership of planning and forecasting activity, provide detailed performance analysis, and help shape key commercial decisions across the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting cycle alongside ongoing forecasting and planning activities
- Build, develop, and maintain financial models that support strategic decision-making
- Deliver insightful management information and commercial reporting for senior stakeholders
- Support pricing decisions and margin optimisation in partnership with the FD
- Produce regular revenue and EBITDA forecasts and performance updates
- Develop and enhance reporting tools and dashboards using Power BI
About you:
- Demonstrable experience within FP&A or commercially focused finance roles
- Strong understanding of pricing strategy, profitability analysis, and business performance drivers
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at different levels
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to present financial insights clearly
- Advanced Excel capability and experience working with financial systems
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central and Power BI would be advantageous
