Soka Partners are proud to be working with an award-winning, not-for-profit social care provider based across the North of England, as they look to recruit a Quality Director. They support adults to live independently, safely, and with purpose in their local communities.

This is a substantial, senior leadership role for someone who wants to shape the future of quality across an entire organisation.

You will develop and deliver the organisation's Quality Strategy, moving from a compliance mindset towards a genuine learning culture rooted in lived experience, innovation and partnership.

You will hold collective responsibility for strategic direction, growth and quality performance, working closely with the Chief Executive, Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees.

Areas of responsibility

  • Quality assurance, clinical governance and regulatory compliance (including CQC)
  • Safeguarding and health & safety strategy
  • Leading a high-performing Quality function
  • Integration of digital systems to evidence and improve quality
  • Strategic inclusion, ensuring the people supported genuinely shape services and decisions

What we're looking for

A current or recent Head of Quality or Quality Director, with a strong track record leading quality, governance and compliance at a senior, strategic level. Experience within learning disabilities and autism services would be a strong advantage, along with a sound understanding of the CQC regulatory framework.

You will bring credibility with Trustees and commissioners, confidence to lead organisational change, and a genuine commitment to inclusion and co-production.
