Salary: £58,000 – £62,000 (DOE)

Hours: 30–37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

About the Role

Soka Partners are working in partnership with a GPhC-registered distance selling pharmacy based in Nottingham, delivering NHS and private healthcare services to patients across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an Independent Prescriber (IP) to join a forward-thinking team in a clinically focused hybrid role, combining online patient care with dispensary oversight. This is not a traditional community pharmacy role; there’s no retail counter or walk-in pressure. Instead, you’ll work within a structured, tech-enabled environment that supports high-quality clinical decision-making and efficient service delivery.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Conduct online consultations (including video where appropriate)
  • Provide private prescribing services (including weight management/GLP-1)
  • Manage acute conditions and ongoing treatment reviews
  • Deliver NHS services (Pharmacy First, NMS, DMS, contraception, vaccinations)
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of clinical services

This role offers genuine prescribing autonomy, allowing you to fully utilise your IP qualification.

Operational / RP Responsibilities

  • Act as Responsible Pharmacist
  • Clinically and legally check NHS and private prescriptions
  • Oversee dispensary workflow and support the team
  • Ensure compliance with GPhC standards, SOPs, and governance frameworks

Candidate Requirements

  • GPhC registered Pharmacist Independent Prescriber (essential)
  • Strong IT proficiency (essential)
  • Confident in both clinical and operational settings
  • Comfortable working on-site in Nottingham
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Interest in progressive, non-traditional pharmacy models
