Office based - Leeds City Centre | Full-time | Soka Partners
Are you a driven, ambitious graduate looking to launch a career in executive search? Soka Partners is growing, and we're looking for our next Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join our Education & Children's Services desk.
About Us
Soka Partners is a specialist executive search firm working across Education, Nursery, Children's Services, dental and veterinary care. We connect exceptional leadership talent with organisations shaping the future of these sectors - and we're only getting started.
The Role
This isn't your average graduate scheme. You'll be trained from day one in the fundamentals of executive search - building relationships with senior leaders, understanding what makes a great C-suite or operations hire, and learning how to identify and place the very best talent in the Education sector. You'll work closely with senior consultants, get hands-on client and candidate exposure early, and have a clear path to building your own desk.
What you'll be doing:
- Researching and mapping the Education leadership talent market
- Sourcing and engaging senior candidates (Headteachers, CEOs, Operations Directors, and beyond)
- Building genuine relationships with clients and candidates alike
- Managing your own pipeline of live search assignments
- Learning the full 360 recruitment cycle, with a focus on executive-level search
What we're looking for:
- A recent graduate (any degree discipline) hungry to build a career in recruitment or executive search
- Excellent communication skills - you'll be speaking with senior leaders from day one
- Resilience, curiosity, and a genuine interest in people and organisations
- Someone who wants to be coached, and who takes ownership of their own development
- Previous sales, customer service, or client-facing experience is a plus, but not essential
What you'll get:
- Uncapped, market leading commission scheme
- Structured training in executive search methodology
- Direct mentorship from experienced consultants
- Clear progression path and earning potential
- The chance to build a specialism in a growing, high-value sector
If you're looking for a career where hard work is genuinely rewarded and no two days look the same, we'd love to hear from you.
