This is a unique, high-visibility opportunity to shape the future of Sojern's advertising portfolio. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven leader to be our subject matter expert on emerging channels and technologies within Advertising Technology. In this role you will lead strategic new initiatives and drive cross-functional collaboration within the organization focused on expanding current and future advertising opportunities for Sojern and our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing complex projects, coordinating efforts across multiple departments, and ensuring successful launches of new advertising products and services. You will not just be an analyst; you will be a player-coach who identifies a new opportunity, builds the business case, gains buy-in, and then leads cross-functional teams to launch and enhance commercial offerings. Your goal is to turn emerging ideas and technology into scalable, revenue-generating realities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive program plans, timelines, roadmaps, resource allocations, and performance reports for strategic initiatives (e.g., Data Curation, DCO, Supply Side Optimization, Advanced Measurement) based on client needs, future opportunities, and overall business strategy.
- Coordinate and lead cross-departmental initiatives to achieve shared goals across diverse departments, including AdOps, Commercial, Product, Product Marketing, and Engineering.
- Conduct market research and analyze data to inform strategic decision-making, program development, and go-to-market strategies.
- Partner with Product and Technology to assist in planning, prioritizing, testing, and establishing business processes throughout program lifecycles.
- Partner with Product Marketing and Commercial to provide high-level technical support translating complex product capabilities into tangible campaign solutions for strategic prospects and ensuring technical alignment during the pre-sales process.
- Ensure operational and commercial readiness for product launches through extensive business analysis, QA Testing, and process documentation.
- Serve as the internal expert on your portfolio of emerging areas within Ad-Tech and Travel, educating leadership stakeholders and influencing the long-term strategic roadmap.
What You Bring
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a high-impact, strategic role such as program management, digital investment, management consulting, or corporate strategy.
- Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem (programmatic, data, measurement) is essential. Specific experience in ad-tech, mar-tech, or travel-tech is strongly preferred.
- Analytical Rigor: Excellent quantitative and analytical skills. You can use Excel, SQL, Tableau, and other tools to analyze and visualize market data, build ROI and payback period forecasts, and use it to build a compelling narrative.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority. You are a high-empathy, low-ego collaborator who can work effectively with engineers, salespeople, and executives.
- Exceptional Communication: World-class written and verbal communication skills. You can simplify complex topics and present with confidence to any audience, from an engineering stand-up to an executive briefing.
- Resilience & Adaptability: You are comfortable with ambiguity, pivot when necessary, and are driven by outcomes, not just outputs.
