We are currently recruiting for a stores assistant and fieldwork site operative based out of our Northampton office.
This is a hands‑on and varied role that involves supporting the day‑to‑day running of our yard, stores, and field operations. You will play a key part in keeping our facilities, equipment, and vehicles in excellent condition, and assist our site teams with deliveries and general site work.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep the yard and stores areas tidy, well‑organised, and safe.
- Maintain and manage the sample store, ensuring materials are labelled, stored, and disposed of correctly.
- Carry out basic maintenance of vehicles and equipment, including checks and cleaning.
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Deliver and collect equipment to and from sites as required.
- Assist on‑site with general labouring tasks, including digging service avoidance pits and supporting the field investigation teams.
- Help manage and prepare tools, consumables, and materials for upcoming projects.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
