Soiltechnics Limited is looking for a driven Lead Geoenvironmental Engineer to lead our Ground Investigation team in Northampton. You will manage a small team of engineers to deliver highâquality Ground Investigation projects of varying scale and complexity. The role is primarily officeâbased (approximately 80% of the role) but requires fieldwork for training and site visits, with company vehicles provided for travel.
Role Overview
The Ground Investigation teams are multidisciplinary, covering factual reporting, contaminated land risk assessments and geotechnical appraisal. A strong foundation in these areas, combined with experience in people management and demonstrable leadership skills, is essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Ground Investigation team.
- Deliver high quality, onâtime project outcomes across a broad range of industries and developments.
- Provide technical excellence and sustainable solutions to clients.
- Encourage continuous professional development, training and mentoring within the team.
- Support team members in pursuing relevant charterships or accreditations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a relevant industry.
- A relevant degree.
- Relevant chartership or working towards it.
- Good understanding of land contamination risk assessment.
- Good understanding of geotechnical analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, positive attitude and strong problemâsolving ability.
- Motivational skills with demonstrable management, leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Full driving licence.
