Join Our Team as a Fieldwork Site Operative at Soiltechnics Limited. We are currently recruiting for a Fieldwork Site Operative based in Northampton. This role involves physical work, practical problem-solving, and the opportunity to learn equipment operation such as diamond coring and hand tools.
Responsibilities include:
- Excavating trial pits manually
- Operating hand tools including breakers
- Assisting in moving equipment and plant between investigation sites
- Undertaking soil sampling as directed by the site engineer
- Performing diamond coring
- Other investigation-related duties as required
Training will be provided, covering safe working practices, equipment operation, and obtaining a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card. The company covers costs for necessary courses, medical, drug, and alcohol screening tests.
This is a site-based role requiring nationwide travel. Company vehicles are provided, but a full driving license is necessary. You will also need to attend our offices as required.
