Come and join a busy and successful estimating team and be involved in a range of projects across the UK. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Ground Investigation Estimator who can work both independently and within a team to support our Preconstruction activities, by ensuring timely return of competitive tender bids to our clients and assisting them to add value to their projects.

The candidate will build and maintain a network with clients, subcontractors and contacts to allow a pipeline of achievable and profitable work to be secured for the company. You should be able to accurately assimilate large volumes of information in a short period of time, have an eye for detail and be self-motivated with experience of working in a high-demand role and working to deadlines. A background within the site investigation industry is essential for the position and experience of the differing contract conditions used within the industry is beneficial. You must be an experienced user of Microsoft packages. Full UK Driving License Required. The position is based from our regional office in Leeds.

At Soil Engineering Geoservices, our highly skilled team provide leading geotechnical expertise through ground investigation, drilling and grouting, and geotechnical testing from three bases across the country, capable of undertaking a wide range of investigative and remediation techniques. Our experience over 60 years of business allows us to undertake both land and nearshore marine investigations, works in secure or high-risk environments, and a wide range of difficult and restricted access projects.

Supporting our Ground Investigation business, we maintain one of the country’s largest single site Geotechnical Laboratories, UKAS accredited for over 40 test disciplines, which undertakes testing for internal and external projects. The laboratory also maintains our In-Situ testing capability, including CBR and Plate Bearing tests.
