Scotland Certification Officer – Aquaculture is a full-time, home-based role with occasional travel across Scotland. Salary: £28,100 to £31,900 per annum. Location: Scotland, Home-Based with occasional travel. Interviews will take place online via Teams. About The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and professional Certification Officer focused on our licensees in Scotland, with particular emphasis on organic aquaculture. The role involves supporting our organic aquaculture licensees as well as other organic farming licensees in Scotland. The role is predominantly home-based but requires travel around Scotland to support account visits and licensee inspections. You will need to be efficient and provide excellent customer service to our clients.
About You
You must have a qualification and/or background in aquaculture, ideally with knowledge of organic production. We will also consider candidates with equivalent qualifications and some experience in the aquaculture sector. You should be confident and decisive, a good communicator, able to work with people from diverse communities, and experienced in face-to-face communications and customer care. Some licensees are certified to Soil Association organic, GB organic, Naturland, Canadian Organic Regime and Bio-Suisse standards.
You will need to work from home but be prepared to travel and stay away from home when required for account visits and licensee inspections. Full travel and accommodation expenses will be covered, along with recognition for travel time. Full UK Driving Licence required.
