Location: Edinburgh or home based with regular UK and international travel

Salary: £51,313 to £54,000 per Annum

Position: Full-time, 35 hours per week. Fixed term contract 31st March 2027 (extension subject to funding)

About the Opportunity

The Soil Association is at the forefront of standards innovation for organic farmed salmon. This is a pivotal role for a senior leader with experience in the aquaculture and/or agri-food industry who is keen to drive change to improve farmed salmon welfare and sustainability within and beyond the organic sector.

About You

With experience in the aquaculture industry you are as passionate about stakeholder engagement and relationship building as you are about transforming the welfare and sustainability of the farmed salmon sector. You can combine a strong technical understanding of the challenges facing the aquaculture industry with deft problem-solving skills, strategic leadership and a clear head for numbers, with a track record of delivering on key project milestones in a complex environment.
