Soi Dog Foundation is seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Major Gifts Officer to join our rapidly growing International Fundraising team. This remote role, based in either the UK or US, offers an exciting opportunity to make a substantial impact on animal welfare across Asia by securing and nurturing relationships with major donors, primarily in the UK and US markets.

Soi Dog Foundation is the largest animal welfare organisation in Asia, dedicated to improving the lives of stray dogs and cats. Our mission is to create a society without homeless animals and ultimately end animal cruelty across the region.
The Role
This is a pivotal position that will drive our major gifts strategy, working closely with the Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager to develop compelling cases for support, identify and research high-value prospects, and secure significant donations to fuel our programme growth in Thailand and beyond.

- Researching and identifying major gift prospects through wealth profiling and digital targeting
- Developing acquisition strategies and creating inspiring cases for support for large donations
- Providing exceptional stewardship to prospective and existing major donors
- Organizing and participating in fundraising events to strengthen donor relationships
- Implementing a high-value giving club and leading major donor appeals
- Crafting bespoke proposals and delivering compelling pitches to secure major gifts
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of demonstrable experience in managing and securing major gifts
- Proven track record in stewarding relationships that lead to increased levels of support
- Experience in designing and implementing effective prospect solicitation strategies
- Excellent research and due diligence skills for high-value prospects
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities in English
- Strong project management, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
- Passion for animal welfare and Soi Dog's mission

Location
This position is remote-based in either the UK or US, working 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) with flexibility across multiple time zones. Some national and international travel will be required.
