The Reception & Member Relations Manager is responsible for guiding the reception team and ensuring a successful experience for every member and guest who visits or stays in our Houses. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing the overall management of Club Reception, including labour, scheduling, training, and supervising staff and member relations.
Key duties include:
- Managing Club Reception: Process all member, guest, and staff disputes and claims in a timely manner, ensuring all systems are up to date with accurate information and Soho House standards are met.
- Member Relations and In-House Experience: Maintain a strong member-facing presence on the floor, supporting all departments and ensuring successful implementation of Member Recognition.
- Member Management in The House: Build relationships with members, manage their needs, and oversee behaviour issues and special requests.
- House Atmosphere and Environment: Ensure a positive vibe and energy in the House, maintaining music, lighting, and team member energy to the typical Soho House standard.
- Membership Development: Create and promote events that fit the House's demographic, driving attendance and gathering member feedback to tailor experiences.
What we are looking for:
- A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar capacity.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments while maintaining calm and effectively problem-solving under pressure.
- A highly social, outgoing individual who values personal interactions.
- Organised and efficient, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.
