Overview
Soho Farmhouse…Surrounded by 100 acres of Oxfordshire countryside, Soho Farmhouse is a destination for food and drink, wellness and outdoor activities. Two hours\’ drive or a short train from London, we have 114 bedrooms, including cabins, huts and farmhouse bedrooms to stay in, a state-of-the-art gym, Cowshed Spa, an indoor and outdoor pool and cinema. We have multiple food and beverage outlets on site, The Main Barn is the central hub, serving the club menu all day. On the mezzanine, Comfy Farm has sofas and an open fire place, while Fancy Farm is a more formal setting for lunch or dinner. There is also Pen Yen for Japanese izakaya-style dishes from the robata grill, bind and sashimi, and Blake\’s Kitchen for fresh bread, sausage rolls and cinnamon buns. Finally, there is The Little Bell, a local favourite, for nose-to-tail cooking and natural wine.
The Role We are seeking an experienced Spa Manager to join our team at Soho Farmhouse (OX7 4JS). As a Spa Manager, you will be a hands-on leader with a passion for wellness, team development and guest experience. You will be responsible for building and onboarding a best in class team, leading the Health Club Spa operations, ensuring seamless delivery of service across all touchpoints, achieving financial targets and contributing to the successful delivery of business goals and strategic initiatives. This role reports into the Global Director of Soho Health Club and House General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a large spa team, ensuring high service standards, team development, and retention
- Drive spa performance through strategic planning, KPI tracking, and revenue growth initiatives
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management for all spa staff
- Uphold exceptional guest and member experiences, ensuring all feedback is actioned and service is consistent
- Maintain full compliance with health, safety, licensing, and insurance regulations
- Control budgets and stock, manage costs, and monitor profitability across treatments and retail
- Ensure therapists are commercially driven, with strong product knowledge and upselling capabilities
- Coordinate rotas and resourcing to meet business needs and maximise appointment availability
- Champion wellness and innovation, introducing new treatments, services, and practitioner partnerships
- Collaborate cross-functionally, particularly with Marketing, Operations, and Global Health Club leadership
- Manage spa systems and software, ensuring effective use by all team members for bookings and reporting
- Ensure the spa environment is visually and operationally excellent, including cleanliness, ambience, and maintenance
- Run promotional events and local outreach initiatives to drive member engagement and business growth
- Conduct regular team meetings, reviews, and training sessions to support professional development
- Maintain accurate administrative records for attendance, payroll, health & safety, and compliance
Qualifications
- Must have 2-3 years previous Spa Management experience within a large busy Spa Operation
- Treatment background, including NVQ level 2 & 3 or equivalent qualifications
- Must have experience with People management functions
- Excellent communication skills and customer service required
- Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy

- Previous experience in a similar fast-paced environment, NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent industry related qualifications
- Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays as needed

- Physical requirements: must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands; must be able to work on feet for at least 8 hours; fast-paced movements required to move around the club; occasional kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required; varying shift times across seven days to include evenings, weekends, opens & closes
