The Role... Reporting to the Director of HSS UK, Europe and Asia, this role is a subject matter expert and will be responsible for providing health and safety, fire safety, and food safety support and advice across our London sites with occasional travel to Houses outside of London. Following our internal safety management systems, policies, and training programmes, you will also work with the UK HSS team to create and give feedback on new HSS initiatives, campaigns, policies, and play an important part in driving standards of excellence. The role will positively drive and improve safety culture within the business, leading by example.
This is a 10 Month Maternity cover contract
Key Accountabilities...
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies in line with UK legislation (e.g. Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, COSHH, RIDDOR, etc. and Approved Codes of Practices).
- Investigate all health, fire, and food safety accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring these are recorded and processed in line with company procedures in a timely manner, and implement change where possible to prevent recurrence.
- Create and review company risk assessments for all work equipment and operations in the business as required, and ensure safe systems of work are in place, including completion of COSHH risk assessments.
