Key duties...

  • Customer Service: Greeting and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
  • Table Service: Setting up and maintaining banquet or event tables, serving food and beverages, and clearing dishes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communication: Effectively communicating with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other service team members to coordinate the smooth flow of the event.
  • Attention to Detail: Paying close attention to details such as table settings, food presentation, and ensuring that guests' requests and preferences are met.
  • Problem-solving: Quickly addressing any issues or challenges that may arise during the event, such as handling special dietary requests or resolving guest concerns.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with other event staff, including servers, bartenders, and event coordinators, to ensure seamless execution of the event.
  • Efficiency: Working efficiently to ensure timely service and contribute to the overall success of the event.
  • Anticipate guest needs and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
  • Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food station's
  • Describe the selection of food beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item's origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate guest requests including any special needs or requests to the kitchen.
  • To retain menu information including all allergen notices.

What we are looking for...

A successful Events Operations Assistant for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years' experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service.

You'll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
