The Role…
At Soho House, a Barista will prepare and serve a wide range of specialty coffees, teas, and other hot and cold drinks to the highest standards, while providing warm, engaging, and knowledgeable service.
Your main responsibility isfor delivering exceptional coffee and beverage experiences to our members and guests.
You’ll work closely with both the kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain efficient service, support daily operations, and uphold the club’s commitment to excellence

- Key duties…
- Prepare and serve all coffee and tea beverages to a consistently high standard, including espresso-based drinks, pour-overs, and non-dairy alternatives.
- Ensure coffee machinery is properly maintained, cleaned, and calibrated daily to guarantee product quality.
- Engage with members in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner, taking time to learn individual preferences and deliver personalised service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the barista station and service area in line with hygiene and health safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, and related supplies, and communicate with management for timely ordering and replenishment.
- Work closely with the wider FB team to ensure a smooth flow of service, especially during busy periods.
- Accurately process orders and payments using the POS system.
- Contribute ideas for seasonal drinks, coffee tastings, or member experiences.
- Support food and drink presentation, including breakfast and light snacks where applicable.
- Encourage a positive, inclusive, and respectful workout atmosphere
What we are looking for...
A successful Barista for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service.
You’ll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm, through quickly and effectively problem solving under pressure
- Must be hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests
- Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School
- Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously
