We are seeking an experienced Night Porter to join our team. The role will involve ensuring our guests and members receive the best possible experience from the moment they arrive on site. You will love the direct contact with people and possess an excellent host talent. We are also looking for someone who is flexible, communicative and a good team player. On site we have small electric floats to take guests wherever they need to go and it will be your responsibility to ensure they have a great experience during their journey. A full driving licence is required for the role and due to our insurance policy you must be over 21 years of age.

Key duties
- Welcome guests and assist with luggage on arrival and departure
- Escort guests to rooms and provide a warm introduction to the House when required
- Support Front of House with guest requests and general assistance
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of luggage and vehicles
- Assist with deliveries, room moves, and internal requests as needed
- Conduct regular checks of public areas, reporting any issues or hazards
- Support other departments during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Always represent Soho House standards, values, and service style
What we are looking for...
- A successful Night Porter at Soho House will be friendly, reliable, and enjoy being part of a team that delivers thoughtful, first-class service.
- Ideally you will have up to 2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service.
- Previous experience in a porter, hospitality, or guest-facing role is an advantage but not essential.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to handle feedback to achieve member satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
The salary range for this role if filled within the UK is listed below. The range for the position in different geographies may vary based on market differences. Pay Range £15.50—£15.50 GBP.
