Kitchen Porter - Babington House

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our team at Babington House (BA11 3RW). As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Your responsibilities will include washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as assisting with basic food preparation tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment; assist with basic food preparation tasks as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen; support a smooth and efficient operation.
• Work with team to ensure efficient service; communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Flexible and available to work opening and closing shifts when required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years\\\’ experience in a busy high-profile restaurant (preferred but not essential).
• Team player who communicates well with all colleagues.
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
• Sense of urgency; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine passion for food and beverage.
