The Role… We are recruiting for an interior designer who will play an integral role in building our bespoke Soho Home Design consultation service based in our Soho Home, Farmhouse. They will work with walk-in and virtual appointment requested clients to ensure that Soho Home not only meets but exceeds their design expectations. The interior designer is pivotal in educating both clients and team members on all aspects of the home collections. This role requires one day of remote work and four days on-site at Soho Farmhouse, Great Tew.
Main Duties…
- Actively build, maintain and grow relationships with existing and new Soho Home clients.
- Host and perform consultations within the store and virtually to define the customer’s design brief.
- Create bespoke tailored design presentations including CAD plans and mood boards.
- Provide expertise, guidance and an elevated service to clients looking to use Soho Home for interior design projects within their own home.
- Own each touch point of the client experience from initial contact right through to delivery, order management and logistics.
- Represent the Soho Home aesthetic and brand vision through all installments.
- Hold a passion for interiors and a keen interest in immersing themselves into the Soho Home brand in order to become a leader in product and interior knowledge.
- Support the visual quality and standards throughout the store/studio space.
- Assist Retail Manager in the delivery of staff training.
- Design and host interior design workshops, talks and events alongside the events team.
What We Are Looking For...
- Minimum 2 + years experience within an interior design firm or furniture retail brand.
- Highly organised Interior Design degree level qualification- BA (Hons).
- Proficient user of Autocad, Adobe Indesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with a natural flair for design and creativity.
- Passionate in people and maintaining relationships.
- Results oriented.
- Weekend work required.
