Job Purpose: The Head of Membership, Soho House Venice Beach will be tasked with opening and managing membership for our latest House in the Los Angeles area. A well-connected individual in the Venice Beach/Westside LA area, they’ll work alongside the Membership Director to build a new Committee, achieve Founding member targets and program and deliver opening events to support member acquisition and engagement.
They should also have a strong knowledge of the wellness space both in Venice and across the wider LA region. An active social individual in the city, this person will be able to develop key relationships at businesses or with individuals, attracting new members into the Houses by hosting lunches, dinners and other outreach activity and events.
Once the House is open they’ll lead on further acquisition, engagement and retention efforts to ensure a healthy, high quality member community. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, community engagement, and hands-on member management, with a minimum of two nights spent in-House each week attending or hosting key events to drive membership acquisition and retention.
