Scope of the Job Soho House Co are seeking a seasoned events producer with experience executing all aspects of events from creative concepting through to full execution. The role will be responsible for delivering a yearly programme of activations and activities across UK, Ireland for Cities Without Houses (CWH). CWH is a membership within Soho House based in cities where we don’t have a physical House. Our members can access our Houses globally but can attend events in some of our CWH cities. These events include dinners, music experiences, workshops and wellness encounters. Events can range from fully produced Soho House events, to amplifying at third party experiences; from evening events to full weekends. The Events Producer will work alongside the CWH membership team to positively impact the growth of membership and deliver value and memorable experiences to our members. This position will be at the centre of all production, being the primary point of contact across logistics, budget, suppliers and partners. Production for CWH will include everything from location scouting, FB, furniture, cutlery, glassware and any additional resource that may help with execution I.e. hosts, administrators right through to production assistance. The Event Producer will ensure the quality of regional activities and activations making sure they are best in class and always reflect well on Soho House as a brand. This role requires flexible hours with the capacity to travel to not only actualise concepts but to additionally meet suppliers, partners and wider stakeholders. The lead event producer will oversee budget and work with finance teams to ensure events are delivered within budget and invoices are managed in a timely manner. The role will oversee events in: UK and Ireland Key Responsibilities Creative concepting - continuously on the lookout for new, different, exciting spaces for our events. Building an idea and creative concept including theme, aesthetic, performance etc to bring the experience to life. This should be done in collaboration with the wider UK and Ireland team but also leaning on best practice from our CWH teams around the world Project Management - The maintenance or improvement of systems to plan and track activations activities to deadlines, ensuring budgets are always met and that all initiatives deliver against businesses objectives and deliver results Execution – The ability to actualise all areas of large and small projects concurrently. All events to be delivered under the lens of ‘only at Soho House’ which includes a keen eye for detail. Stakeholder management is crucial. Programming - Delivering a calendar of multi-tier activities and activations across the UK and Ireland. We should see consistent programming throughout the year so we always have something on. Finance – Managing day to day budgets and expenses, liaising with finance team to ensure all suppliers and partners are paid prior and post impact days. Event Producer will work closely with the Head of Membership in owning the PL to manage event spend in relation to all other aspects of the PL Administrative – Managing multiple supplier contracts, partnership contracts, run of shows (production schedules) and other associated clerical paperwork, ensuring timely delivery. Work with the other event producers to modify Airtable the platform used at Soho House so it works for and delivers efficiencies for CWH event production team Strategy – work with other event producers and head of memberships to build and create a single CWH event strategy that works at a global level but can be tailored by region. Set up and attend CWH global event production team meetings and share best practice across markets. Attend the Soho House events townhalls to ensure we are leveraging work being done at a House level within CWH Reporting – Tracking event performance by way of spending, attendance and new member acquisition, member retention and utilising this knowledge for future event planning. Only At Soho House - Ensuring Soho House style is evident at each event. Demonstrate a healthy obsession with member user experience, food, beverage, event styling and data capture. Skills and qualifications 5+ years equivalent industry experience Experience in cultural event creative concepting, programming and event production Exceptionally Strong organisational skills a must Ability to multitask and execute under pressure and in demanding fast-paced environments Strong social skills for dealing with and developing client, suppliers, partners and staff relationships Collaborative and communicates well A good knowledge of site and event health and safety and the ability to write incident reports Experience in managing budgets, processing invoices and payments essential Energetic, flexible, collaborative, proactive; a team player who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance, and administrative initiatives.
