The Role… At Soho House, a Bartender plays an essential part in delivering a premium beverage experience that is both memorable and personal. You will support the Bar Manager and Assistant Bar Manager and you’ll ensure that the bar is fully operational, stocked, and always presented to the highest standard. Your main responsibility is to prepare and serve classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, and spirits with precision and flair, while creating a welcoming and sophisticated environment for our members and guests.

Key duties…
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of drinks to a consistently high standard, including cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Engage with members and guests in a warm, professional manner, remembering preferences and delivering a personalised experience.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of the bar before, during, and after service.
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and replenishment of supplies throughout the shift.
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and hygiene standards always.
- Contribute to the development of new cocktail menus and seasonal drink offerings in collaboration with the bar team.
- Process orders accurately using the POS system and ensure all billing is completed to club standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the floor team, kitchen, and events department to ensure smooth and seamless service.
- Handle member queries and feedback confidently, escalating any concerns to management as appropriate.
What we are looking for...
- 2 -3 years’ experience in similar capacity
- Strong cocktail knowledge, including classics, techniques, and spirits.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a confident, calm presence during busy services.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards and attention to detail.
- Experience working with POS systems, stock control, and basic reporting.
- Team player with a flexible, professional, and positive attitude.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Personal License or willingness to obtain one (preferred).
