At Soho House, as a Housekeeping Supervisor you will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping team to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service across all guest‑facing and back‑of‑house areas. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure all areas (rooms, public spaces, offices, and staff areas) are cleaned and maintained to high standards.
- Conduct daily inspections and audits of guest areas, restrooms, lounges, and event spaces, addressing any deficiencies immediately.
- Support training and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they understand club standards, procedures, and safety expectations.
- Create and adjust daily work schedules and task lists based on occupancy, events, and business levels.
- Liaise with front of house, events, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and prompt response to member needs.
- Monitor housekeeping stock levels (e.g. cleaning supplies, linen, amenities) and assist with inventory control.
- Enforce health, hygiene, and safety regulations, and ensure compliance with COSHH and manual handling practices.
- Address member or guest feedback regarding cleanliness or housekeeping promptly and professionally.
- Lead by example, promoting a positive team environment and strong work ethic.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years’ experience in a housekeeping supervisory or senior attendant role, ideally within luxury hospitality or private clubs.
- Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, guest service, and back‑of‑house procedures.
- Experience leading and motivating a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.
- Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Working knowledge of housekeeping systems or software is a plus.
