The Role

At Soho House, a Health Club Treatment Technician is the face of the recovery and wellbeing area, providing a warm welcome, exceptional service, and continuous support to ensure members and guests enjoy a safe, clean, and restorative environment across all treatment and recovery experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome every member by name and guest with open arms and in a hospitable manner.
  • Ensure all treatment and recovery sessions are delivered safely, following operating procedures, time limits, contraindications, and hygiene standards.
  • Provide safe and correct guidance on the use of recovery and wellbeing equipment, including Hyperbaric chamber, Cryotherapy, Photobiomodulation bed (PBM), Compression boots.
  • Encourage a positive, inclusive, and respectful workout atmosphere.
  • In real time, ensure any member‑related concerns, adverse reactions, or equipment issues are addressed promptly, documented, and escalated to the management team where necessary.
  • Ensure all recovery and wellbeing areas are clean, sanitised, organised, and fully operational always - including equipment cleaning cycles, towel restocking, and pod/chamber resets between uses.
  • Assist with booking and scheduling of recovery treatments, managing session flow, and providing clear information about services, benefits, and contraindications.
  • Uphold discretion and professionalism, especially when serving VIPs and PWKs.
  • Assist with booking appointments, classes, or providing information about fitness services and facilities.

What we are looking for…

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar capacity.
  • L3 Beauty or Massage Therapist Qualification desirable.
  • Thrive in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments and maintain calm, through quickly and effectively problem‑solving under pressure.
  • Must be hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests.
  • Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously.
