At Soho House, as a Fitness Coach you will be responsible for delivering dynamic, engaging, and results-driven fitness support to our members. You’ll offer personalised coaching, lead group classes, and promote a culture of health, performance, and wellbeing within a luxury environment. You will play a vital role in supporting members' goals—whether that’s strength, conditioning, weight management, or general fitness—while upholding the club’s commitment to premium service and discretion.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions tailored to individual member goals, fitness levels, and preferences.
- Lead high-quality group fitness classes (e.g. HIIT, strength, circuits, mobility) in a safe and motivating environment.
- Carry out fitness assessments, progress tracking, and provide expert guidance on training techniques.
- Educate members on health, posture, nutrition, recovery, and injury prevention.
- Provide support on the gym floor by engaging members, correcting form, and ensuring equipment is used safely.
- Promote member engagement and retention through goal-setting and consistent follow-up.
- Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of the gym area at all times.
- Collaborate with the wider wellness, spa, and hospitality teams to ensure a seamless member experience.
- Contribute ideas to enhance fitness programming and member satisfaction.
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years of experience as a personal trainer or fitness coach in a high-end gym or club environment
- Level 3 Personal Training Certification (REPs/CIMSPA or international equivalent)
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Group class instruction experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, motivational, and coaching skills
- Proactive, confident, and passionate about health and wellness
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and club events as needed
- Specialisms in strength training, functional fitness, pre/post-natal, or rehabilitation
- Nutrition or lifestyle coaching certification
- Familiarity with fitness tracking software or apps
Physical Requirements:
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects by hand
- Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
- Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required
