The Role

At Soho House, a

Waiter delivers refined, attentive, and personalised service to members and guests.

Working closely with the floor and kitchen teams you ensure a smooth dining experience while reflecting the Club’s standards of professionalism, discretion, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet members, introduce menus and engage promptly upon seating.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, accommodating allergies or dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and correct order delivery.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and pairings.
• Maintain exceptional table service, topping up water, wine and beverages throughout the guest’s stay.
• Ensure a pristine environment, setting up, resetting tables and maintaining cleanliness.
• Handle member requests and special accommodations with flexibility to create memorable experiences.
• Support seamless payment via card, the Soho House App or House Pay.
• Uphold discretion and professionalism, especially with VIP guests.
• Contribute to team success, attending briefings, tastings and assisting colleagues.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar high‑end dining environment
• Thrives in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments; remains calm and solves problems under pressure
• Hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful toward colleagues and guests
• Demonstrates competency as outlined in training schedule and Club School
• Can work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Can take direction, work in a team environment and act autonomously

Salary range for this role within the UK is listed below. Different geographies may have variations.

Pay Range: £XX – £YY per annum.
