The Role…
At Soho House, as a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities team in ensuring that the building, facilities, and equipment across the club are maintained to a high standard.
You'll play a hands-on role in keeping the club safe, functional, and well-presented for our members, guests, and staff.
This position is ideal for a proactive, reliable individual with a basic technical skillset and a strong service mindset.

- Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks (painting, basic plumbing, light bulb changes, furniture assembly, etc.)
- Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive work orders as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Assist with inspections of equipment, fixtures, and building systems to identify issues early
- Help with room and facility setups for meetings, events, or club functions
- Keep maintenance tools, workspaces, and plant rooms clean, tidy, and safely stored
- Monitor stock of essential maintenance supplies and report shortages
- Respond quickly and professionally to urgent repair requests or facility concerns
- Work closely with housekeeping and operations teams to ensure a well-maintained environment
- Always follow health and safety policies and safe working practices
What we are looking for...
A successful Maintenance Assistant for Soho House will ideally have up to 2 years' experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class service.
You'll be reliable, friendly and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
- Basic experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a similar support role
- Comfortable using tools and carrying out physical tasks
- Good attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean and functional
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to support different departments as needed
- Basic qualifications in building services, maintenance, or manual trades
- Experience in a hotel, club, or hospitality environment
- Familiarity with maintenance logs, task tracking, or work order systems
