At Soho House, the Receiver handles and processes all food and beverage stock that is ordered for the house. As the Receiver, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall cleanliness of storage areas, back landing, dry storage, wash area, walk‑ins, chef storage, freight elevator, and garbage room. A successful Receiver will maintain an efficient flow of goods, which involves documenting, storing, locating, and distributing stock for the departments.

Responsibilities
- Receive all perishable and non-perishable beverage and food orders and verify and document the quantity received of all produce, fruits, dry goods, liqueur, chemicals, and supplies.
- Provide support to vendors and management in the receiving of all other supplies as needed.
- Check received merchandise (quality and quantity) and reject unacceptable merchandise.
- Distribute merchandise according to food safety rules and storage orders.
- Ensure the smooth operation of walk‑ins and freezer.
- Conduct inventory as advised and communicate results to management.
- Complete daily checklist with overnight porter.
- Wipe down and sanitize all areas of bar storage to maintain a safe and healthy environment for consumable items.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

- 1+ years’ relative experience with a proven track record of leading a professional, efficient, high‑quality, service‑oriented operation.
- Ability to read and write English, read labels, and follow safety instructions.
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
